Its never to late to learn. Our Adult Program caters for those adults who are not confident in an aquatic environment through to those who would like to perfect their swimming stroke and endurance.
30 minutes / 5 students in a class
This is for adults who have no swimming experience through to those who have limited swimming skills. We will teach basic floating and movement skills through to basic stroke skills. These lessons are 30 mins in duration, with a maximum of 5 students in a class.

Skill Focus
Confidently submerges entire body whilst exhaling.
Independently performs a 5 second front float, rotating to a 5second back float and recovers to the wall.
Ability to push and glide on your front with correct head, body, arm and leg position.
Freestyle streamline with correct head, body and arm position and effective kick to 10m.
Basic Freestyle is performed with coordination, effective kick and a basic straight arm action.
Bubble, bubble, breathe - performs basic freestyle breathing drill with an effective kick, basic straight arm action, correct head position and breathing pattern.
Ability to push and glide on your back with correct head, body, arm and leg position.
Performs effective back kick to 10m with correct head and body position with arms by your side.
Has a basic understanding of how to include backstroke arm action with an effective kick and correct body and head position.
Independently kick on back with a basic sculling arm action, essential life saving skills.

This level is a session for adults who are able to swim Freestyle and Backstroke and have basic Breaststroke and Butterfly skills. We will refine the strokes and develop swimming endurance to enable you to swim further. These lessons are 30 mins in duration, with a maximum of 5 students in a class.

Skill Focus
Drop down underwater, push off in a streamline with correct head, body and arm position and continuous butterfly kick.
Completes 15m freestyle with an effective kick, correct breathing pattern and head position.
Completes 15m backstroke with an effective kick and correct body position and arm action.
Performs breaststroke kick in streamline position with correct ankle, knee and hip position.
Performs breaststroke kick with propulsion and glide, in a streamline position.
Performs breaststroke arm action with correct technique, timing and body position.
Breaststroke, 15m with correct technique, timing and body position.
Perform an effective butterfly kick, with arms in streamline position & chin on chest.
Performs 4 strokes of butterfly with a streamline start and no breathing. Correct kick and basic timing with an overwater arm recovery.
Complete a tumble turn, streamline and continually swimsFreestyle. Complete a tumble turn, streamline and continually swims Backstroke.
